Class Descriptions
Weekday classes are programmed to complement each other.
Muscle groups worked on Mon/Tues will be different than those worked on Wed/Thur for balance.
We have different focuses through the week for a comprehensive fitness plan.
Classes are programmed to increase fitness as well as durability to prevent injury.
All levels welcome and drop-ins are welcome any time.
First class is free to try it out!
TRX Metabolic: (Mondays & Tuesdays)
Alternating strength & cardio intervals, this class is designed to increase your body’s capacity to do more work and decrease your need for rest in between sets. Get stronger, burn more calories, & recover faster.
TRX Strength: (Wednesdays & Thursdays)
This class happens every other week (alternating with the Endurance class) and its purpose it to build muscular strength. The focus in on higher resistance/load and increasing the difficulty of each exercise with fewer repetitions. There are no cardio intervals in this class.
TRX Endurance: (Wednesdays & Thursdays)
This class happens every other week (alternating with the Strength class) and its purpose it to increase muscular endurance - the ability to perform a higher number repetitions with moderate resistance/load.
TRX Sweat: (Saturdays)
The Saturday morning classes are full body workouts that are a mix of strength & high intensity intervals. You may want to bring a towel…
Sunday Run Day:
Our six week social running club is for people looking to start a regular running routine, but don’t feel like going alone. We run in a different spot each week and then grab coffee (or mimosas) after. Drop in and try it out or commit to the full six weeks to push yourself.
Yoga Hustle & Flow: (Sundays)
Join Yoga Instructor & Louisville Ballet dancer Leigh Anne Albrechta for a one-hour yoga class that introduces multiple aspects of yoga at levels that are easy to understand if you’re a beginner and expertly progressed if you’re more advanced. This class is the perfect mix of strength & stability work through various poses and yoga flows, and great mobility work to lead us into the week ahead.
